The costume sizing is not perfect & a little flimsy. Of course must wear something underneath costume. Definitely not the same as picture (nothing ever is) but i would assume the color is the same & it wasn’t. The vest part is dark blue & symbol & trim are not gold which makes costume in picture look so alluring, it’s actually grey. The hat is the worst part of the costume. It’s a black hat made of felt & a felt brown feather cut into splices to resemble a feather. I would suggest making your own hat from a craft store because anyone can find a better & realistic looking feather or a real feather. The picture is so misleading on the hat. It is a one piece kids costume & they don’t advertise the actual hat it comes with, so I had to go out & buy a separate hat. For a suggestion if u dn’t want to make your own I bought a really great hat frm party city. It’s a blk silk hat with a white feather. The price was not bad, it was $20. If u & ur kid dn’t care abt the realistic charm of a character then ur good ur done!
